The two-week training visit of the heads of selected vocational schools to Turkey has ended

A two-week training and internship visit to Turkey for the leaders of 15 vocational education institutions selected to study best practices in the management of vocational education institutions has been successfully completed.

On the last day of the study tour, Sultanahmet Mesleki and Technical Anatolian High School were visited, Tehsil.biz reports. First of all, a meeting was held with the head of the educational institution Yusuf Atilgan, who drew attention to his location in the historic building. Then they got acquainted with the production training rooms and workshops of the vocational school in the fields of "ICT", "Electricity", "Graphics" and "Photography", "Furniture" and "Interior". During the meeting with Mehmet Nezir Eryarsoy, Deputy Director of the Istanbul National Education Department, discussions were held on the vocational education system in both Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Among the vocational schools visited during the visit, Cagaloglu Traditional Turkish Arts Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was also included. During the meeting with the director of the vocational school Emine Erdönmez, the workshops and production training rooms on "Traditional Turkish Arts" were inspected.

In the end, the Istanbul National Education Directorate organized a closing ceremony at the Sabanci Teacher's House. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the National Directorate of Education, heads of vocational schools visited during the study tour. At the end, the program participants were awarded certificates and took photos.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the visit within the "Protocol on Cooperation in Vocational Education signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey" on February 19, 2021 is to study best practices in Turkey in the management of vocational education institutions. Fifteen heads of vocational schools from Baku and different regions participated in trainings in various areas for two weeks and benefited from on-site experience in organizing activities in specialized vocational schools.
