Asgarov Kamil Islam oglu, a resident of Sumgayit, was admitted to the intensive care unit of Sumgayit Children's Hospital on October 9, 2021 at 20:05. At this time, the patient showed symptoms of fever, suffocation, shortness of breath. The initial diagnosis was "Acute bronchitis, bronchospasm", at the same time the patient was tested Covid-19 and the result was positive. The last clinical diagnosis made by doctors was Covid-19, bilateral pneumonia, acute respiratory failure, alimentary obesity.

Despite clinical treatment since October 10, Kamil Asgarov died the next day, on October 11, from acute heart failure.

It should be noted that Kamil Asgarov, a 9th grade student of Sumgayit Secondary School No. 31, last attended classes on October 5. No cases of Covid-19 infection were reported at the school or in the classroom.

The presence of alimentary obesity in patients with Covid-19 infection, as well as high blood sugar have a very negative and aggravating effect on the course of the disease. At the same time, the patient's failure to go to the hospital for 5 days and treatment at home had a negative impact on the process.

Given the current epidemiological situation, we once again recommend that parents vaccinate adolescents over 12 years of age with appropriate medical instructions.
