Today, the Guba branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) together with the branches of Azerbaijani higher education institutions held a scientific-practical conference entitled "From Return to Salvation" dedicated to June 15 - Salvation Day.

According to Tehsil.biz, at the online conference organized on the zoom platform, the director of the Guba branch of ADPU Assoc. Yusif Aliyev, director of Zagatala branch of Azerbaijan State University of Economics prof. Orujali Rzayev, Director of Gazakh branch of Baku State University (BSU) Assoc. Arif Rustamov, director of Sheki branch of ADPU docent Rafig Rasulov, director of Jalilabad branch of ADPU docent Khudayar Sultanli, director of Shamakhi branch of ADPU docent Tunzala Yusifova and other branch officials, as well as faculty members attended.

The conference began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The director called the first two years of Heydar Aliyev's coming to power the most intense period of struggle. He said that several coup attempts were prevented during those years. The Treaty of the Century, signed in 1994, marked the beginning of a new stage in Azerbaijan's development. Thus, our country has become the center of attention of the world from a political, economic and geographical point of view. He stressed that the document signed at the Lisbon meeting on the implementation of the Bologna system through the efforts of the great leader has given a significant impetus to the development of education today. He also recalled the bloody massacre of the USSR leadership in Baku, when Heydar Aliyev risked his life and the lives of his family members to go to the appropriate authorities, and his struggle to convey the true voice of Azerbaijan. Aliyev considered the recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity as a result of Heydar Aliyev's work as the basic principles of victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.

Director of Zagatala branch of Azerbaijan State University of Economics prof. Orujali Rzayev said it was a great pleasure to gather the heads of the branches at an event and celebrate the Day of Salvation. He noted that the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from Armenian occupation proves once again that the country is in safe hands. He noted that Heydar Aliyev's coming to power is characterized as a sharp response to territorial claims against Azerbaijan and ensuring internal stability in the country. The director wished such conferences to continue and permanent cooperation between the branches. He noted that an innovative competitive environment has been formed between the branches of ADPU, and the development trend is in sight.

Director of Gazakh branch of BSU Assoc. Speaking about Heydar Aliyev, Arif Rustamov stressed the importance of describing the difficulties, nature and conditions of the period when he came to power. According to him, this will allow us to better understand the essence of today. The director stressed that. At that time, the relationship between the branches of government was not complementary, and the internal situation in the country was characterized as a crisis. He recalled that at that time Azerbaijan was isolated from the outside world and under information blockade. This prevented the country's true voice from reaching the world. Rustamov said that the signing of international agreements after Heydar Aliyev came to power, in particular, the oil agreement revived the country's economy from scratch. He said that this provided a large financial flow to Azerbaijan. With the coming to power of Heydar Aliyev, the people of Azerbaijan have gained time to recover.

Director of ADPU Sheki branch Assoc. Rafig Rasulov congratulated the conference participants on this occasion. He noted that Heydar Aliyev's political intelligence first ensured political stability in the country. Despite the defeat in the First Karabakh War, a ceasefire was declared. The director attributed this to the impossibility of winning the war in a short time. The director stressed that some countries still do not give up the establishment of any status in Azerbaijan. Director of ADPU Shamakhi branch Assoc. Tunzala Yusifova spoke about the history and significance of the National Salvation Day. He said that this is a day of great social and political significance. The director said that the Armenian occupation aggravated the situation in the country at that time, the snow inside the country
