An international conference dedicated to World Environment Day was organized by the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) and the World Youth Summit for Peace (WYSP) in Pakistan on 05.06.21.

 

Speakers at the conference included former Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj, Ecuador's first female president Rosalia Arteaga, former Mauritian President Amina Gurib-Fakim, Pakistani MP and former Minister Rahman Malik, former Maldives Foreign Minister Dunya Mamun, and Bangladesh Youth Parliament Speaker Sarker Tanvir Ahmed. and so on. officials, experts and media representatives attended.

 

Hajibaba Mustafayev, the chairman of BSU THIK, was among the final speakers at the conference moderated by IHRC chairman Mohammad Shahid Khan. Thanking the organizers for organizing this conference on such an important issue, Mustafayev noted that serious work is being done in Azerbaijan to protect the environment, and said that special attention is paid to this topic. Noting that one of the main environmental problems in the region is the damage inflicted on the natural resources of Karabakh during the Armenian occupation, Mustafayev said that after the liberation of our lands, restoration work began in these areas.
